About the Role

Cleared is partnering with the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) to engage 12 Service Management Officers (APS5 equivalent) to support the delivery and continuous improvement of IT services in a complex ICT environment.

These roles are based in Adelaide and involve shift work in predominantly onsite settings. Due to operational requirements, work-from-home arrangements may be limited.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and maintain a complex ICT environment (Windows and Linux systems)
• Manage and respond to incidents, problems, and changes within IT service management platforms
• Engage with stakeholders to determine issue severity and urgency
• Troubleshoot faults, provide workarounds, and escalate where required
• Contribute to resolving operational ICT issues in line with standards
• Assist with documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles
• Participate in team collaboration and knowledge sharing

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience with Windows and/or Linux administration
• Exposure to virtualisation, databases, and storage platforms
• Understanding of IT service management processes

Essential Capability (SFIA)

• Customer Service Support (Level 4)
• Incident Management (Level 4)
• Service Level Management (Level 3)

Employment Details

• Contract: 12 months + 2 x 12-month extensions
• Work Hours: Up to 40 hours per week
• Location: Onsite (Adelaide, SA)

Eligibility Requirements

• Current TSPV clearance (or ability to obtain Positive Vetting)
• Vendor must hold DISP membership
• Completion of ASD’s Organisation Suitability Assessment (OSA)
